Gorgeous black lacquered hand painted and decorated wood desk in the Carlton House / Georgian style. The desk features an heavily hand painted / decorated floral and birds design details in the chinoiserie scene with green velvet lined interior. The front of the desk features six small drawers and two medium compartment on each side. The desk is supported by four square cabriole legs. The entire desk is covered with a labour intensive hand decorated birds , flowers and brass pull hardware. The desk is in great shape with minor wear consistent with age / use. It Stands 40 inches high X 24 inches deep X 50 inches wide.
